Speaking of missionaries....

It seems as though ALL of (most of ;) my best friends are on missions. I am SOOOO excited, this year they are starting to come home! I miss them all terribly, it seems as though our class had this crazy awesome friendship and having them gone has kind of made it hard to spend time all together like we used to. But Danny comes home this month, then Jared in May, Chancy in August, Tyson in September, Derek and Jared in November, Chris in Januray, Brindi in April... and then Skippy in December haha. I miss them all so much and the wonderful happiness they all bring to my life. I am excited to get to know them all again when they return. I am so proud to say I have so many friends with such a desire to serve. It is hard having them ALL gone but such a blessing to have such wonderful and faithful friends. I love you all! Press forward!!!
I don't even think I sent this to him, I am so BAD when it comes to the mail service. But it is proof to him that I am thinking about him! Haha
Here is Jar in some BEAUTIFUL place in New Zealand. He loves it there, I am pretty sure he doesn't want to leave!
Oh, Brin. How I LOVE this girl, I know she is an amazing blessing to the people of Chile!!

It's gone so slow and yet again so fast.......

So today marks two months since I embarked upon my missionary adventure. It has been a crazy two months! Thinking back it feels like so much time has passed, like it should be six months at least. And yet again I think every day is one day closer, and two months of that are already in the past. I am proud to say he is doing a wonderful job and loving the work. He makes me so happy with his dedication and love of the gospel. I hope he can help the people of South Carolina, and make a lasting impression on them the way the missionaries did with my family and I. He is a wonderful person and example, and I am so thankful to have him in my life. He is my best friend!

Valentine's Day flower fun!

Valentine's Day is a crazy day for my mom's store, there are millions of people (not really millions ;) wanting flowers and balloons. My mom asked me to help her work which was fine with me, I had no plans. After a while of blowing balloons my fingers were about BLEEDING so I decided to help with flowers. Kymber and I started stripping the thorns off the roses and my cousin Dody (Devon!) said- Misty put together this arrangement! I laughed, I am terrible with flowers! All I could do was put together wrapped dozen and single roses. But I decided I would try it out. It was fun! This is one of the five or six arrangements I did. It created somewhat of a monster, now I do them all the time!

Snow on the Corner!

The other night my mom and I were working late putting together flower arrangements and when we walked outside to go home we were happily surprised to see this! SNOW! It is rare in Winslow, we were SO excited :) As you can see it was unexpected as my mother had no jacket!

I had been in Flag for class so I was prepared...

But my poor mom wasn't! She was mad she had to wait ten whole seconds for the timer to go off :) silly girl.

I left my heart in San Francisco...

A few weekends ago my family and I had the opportunity to go to Dublin, California to visit my uncle and his family. He was recently transferred there through his company (he runs the Hertz companies at the San Francisco and Oakland airports) and we hadn't ever been to San Francisco so we decided why not? We were there from Friday to Tuesday and had a blast. My grandparents and all of my family (except Kymi- we missed you!) were there. His beautiful babies, Victoria and Brianna, were so much fun, I loved every second I spent with them! Friday night we just hung out and spent some down time catching up. Saturday we went driving all over and ate a huge seafood dinner (I am not much of a fan of seafood but I endured it :). We then did some walking and sight seeing. Sunday I went to church there in Dublin and was amazed to find out the missionaries there are CHINESE speaking! Who knew? What a crazy hard mission to learn such a challenging language in a place where it is not the primary spoken language. Craziness. I love missionaries. On monday we took a ferry boat ride under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. It was so beautiful and the weather was wonderful. Overall it was a great trip. I already miss Dan, Raquel and the babies, hopefully we can see them all again soon!
