The rest of my 30. . .

Continuing...

7- Joseph Smith.

"Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it."
I know this man was a prophet with all of my heart. He restored this wonderful gospel to the earth.

8- Musicals.

Musicals are amazing! I love the music, the stories, all of it! The talent it takes to put one of these productions together is amazing. Musicals make my heart happy, I have never seen one I didn't love.

9- A roof over my head and food in my belly. I have always been so blessed to have a family and parents who take care of me.

10. My wonderful country.

I am so thankful to live in a free country, one that makes me feel safe and free to be who I want to be!
11. The Book of Mormon.
12. Temples.
13. Prayer.
14. Institute.
15. Challenges.
16. Love.
17. Opportunity.
18. My job at the Forest Service.
19. Hugs.
20. Education.
21. Fairy Tales.
22. Forgiveness.
23. 2nd chances.
24. The Plan of Salvation.
25. Cheez-Its. Music. Lyrics. Capri-Suns.
26. Children.
27. Good examples.
28. Smiles.
29. Running.
30. Experiences that mold us, and help us become who we are.

So I got lazy, but there are still 30. There are so many more, but it would take days... maybe years to list them all. Mostly I am thankful for life, the opportunity I have to experience life and emotions and family and friendship, everything this awful beautiful life had to offer!

Monday

Count your many blessings, name them one by one.

So today I was blog stalking (a normal activity now days) and I fell upon Camille's blog. She had a list of 30 things she was thankful for in November. Genius. I am now going to steal her idea. She apparently stole it from someone else, so the credit goes to the both of them. Copycat. Oh well, I liked it. So...

1- My amazing mother.

Honestly the most amazing and selfless person I have ever met. I don't know where she gets the time and energy to be so worried about everyone else. She never does anything else, and I honestly believe it's because it isn't fun for her, she would rather be doing something for us. She takes anyone in without a second thought. She gives of all she has- money, time, talent- to helping others. She works so hard so we will have everything we need, even if it means no rest for herself. She has such high hopes for us, and is always proud of who we are. She is funny and random and crazy. She is my best friend in the whole world. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for her and all she is and does for me. I love you mom!!

2- Family.

Seriously, how cool are we? Love these people. I have spent more time with them than with anyone else, and it's by choice. There is nobody in the world I would rather be with.

This includes my new brother and baby sister.

And this family as well.

Not to mention these folks. They are more than an extended family, they are the greatest people in the world! So fun and hilarious to be around. never a dull moment and the Greer/Harvey house! We love each other. I was practically raised by them all, especially these past years. I know I could call on them at any time, day or night, and they would be there in an instant. I LOVE THEM!

And of course, my Socorro.

And my Jaycee.

Baby girls are such a blessing in all our lives!

3- Best Friends.
I am always saying things like "I went here with my best friend Perla" and "I did this with my best friend Brindi." Lots of people ask me "how many best friends do you have?" I have one for every category of life, ok? And I love them all equally.

My best friend Whit Whit. She is my travel buddy and go to girl. She is my person, and she knows what I mean.

My best friend Kelly. We are the dynamic duo. We are each other. She was there for me when I was finding myself. I love this girl. Even if I don't see her everyday, I can still go to her for anything no matter what.

My best friend Lee. Lee, you are my one true love, you know what I mean. He is seriously that guy. We always have fun together, don't care if we are fighting or not, he always gets me.

My best friends CK and Crich. You girls made high school what it was. Best memories ever. "When you look back on times we've had, I hope you're proud. And know that through the good and through the bad it was our time to shine and nobody could hold us back. We claimed the highest star and we came so far and no we won't forget. We believed that we could touch the sky. Remember how we reached that dream together whenever you remember."

My best friend Brindi. I freaking love this girl. If it weren't for her, I don't know where I would be. She is hilarious, ridiculous, and my favorite person to be around. Best movie quoter ever.

My best friend Perla. My rock. My example. The one who always knows exactly what to say. The one who I can always count on to give me the answer I need. The one who inspires me to be better, to live better, to try a little harder and have more faith. I have more fun with this girl than pretty everyone combined. We can be sitting around jamming to Miley Cyrus and have the time of our lives. Whether it's a random road trip to Sedona or a weekend n Vegas, she always keeps the good times rolling. She is strong and faithful in every aspect of life. Such a wonderful example. Perlis, I love you, you're ma best friend.

My best friends Tal and Amberlee. Wonderful girls. HILARIOUS. I WANNA COOOOOOOL RIDER!!! Bahahhaa love you girls.
4- Sisters.
These girls count in my best friends list, but I wanted to give them their own recognition. Seriously, where would I be without them? They are the best friends a girl could have.

Kymber, I love you with my whole heart. You are the one person in my life who has been through it all with me. You know everything I have been through, and you were by my side all along. You are a wonderful girl, and such a blessing in my life. You are hilarious. You have such a way with people and those baby girls and everyone that is important to you. You are caring. You are amazing in more ways than you give yourself credit for. Every day I am thankful I have you.

Lacymae. Where would I be without you? You were with me through so many things. High school was 100% better having you there with me. How lucky am I to have had the chance to graduate with my sister? And in college, those times I needed someone most, you were there. You always tell me things exactly as they are, you have no idea how much I value your opinion and friendship. You have a pure kind of happiness that is contagious. I am so happy for you and proud of you. I hope you always know how much I love having you in my life!

I love my sisters! I am so blessed to have them in my life!!!
5- Elder Skip Holladay.

My life, my love, my everything. He is the one who inspires my heart. He pushes me to be better, stronger. I am instantly happy wherever he is involved. I am so proud of him and all he is doing. He is amazing, I am so blessed to have him in my life. Thank you love, for everything. I am who I am because of you.

6- Tyler.
Little Bro, you are amazing. I can't explain the friendship we have. There is just something about this kid that is so amazing and special. We have such a special relationship.

Tyler, I love you. You are an amazing kid, and such an example to me and to everyone! Everyone I know loves you, you are just that great. Coolest kid I know, seriously.

Ok... so that is only six for now. I have to go to work or I would continue this fun game of counting my many blessings. I know you are all torn up to not know the rest haha but have no fear, there are 24 yet to come. I'll get back to you on that.

Thursday

SUNSSSSSSS

The other day I saw that the Disney kids were going to watch the SUNNSSSS play! I thought to myself, "Why not take a crazy chance? Why not do a crazy dance? If you lose the moment, you might lose a lot... so why not??" Hahaha ok maybe that song just happened to be playing in the county bounty and so it was a subconcious thought but either way I decided I wanted to go to the game too! I went online and bought some $10 tickets. The next part was the hardest... finding someone to go with me!! Nobody here likes sports, I don't know what it is. Luckily I have my favorite and might I add adventerous BFF Courtney and she said she would go. So went we did! Talk about epic. Steve Nash. Stoudemire. Sweet old lady Magic fan yelling at me. Ahhhh the memories. It was a good time. We got SLAUGHTERED. It was a blood bath. But you know, it's ok. It's all about the memories anyway right? And it was micktabulous (thanks Terri for the new adjective :).

Good news minute:

*Whitney and Ashley will be here on Wednesday! I might pee with excitement!!!

We are staying a pirate room. WOOT! Can't wait!

Also, my mommy called to say she is going to fly me home for a week in December. Sign me up. A week of mommy, Kymi, Dodee, mexican food, Jaycee and Socorro, and snow. I am so there it's insane.
I have a few goals of new future purchases I thought I would share. I want these jeans:
Not anytime soon. They are totally a horribly wasteful buy, they are so expensive. But I waaaaant some. So I figure I'll give them to myself as a graduation gift to me.

And, I neeeed a guitar. I have a guitar, but I need an acoustic so I can learn to play well and then rock out on my electric.

So uhhhhh, those my goals. Oh not to mention a new wardrobe to help deal with the cold. But I can worry about those later.

I secured a place to live in the spring with some amazing girls from the institute in Flagg. I am so super excited! AND I will be neighbors with Amberlee and Tally!!! Can you say sleepovers complete with High School Musical, cookies, and nachos? Bomb.com. (I really never say bomb.com, its an inside joke, like a movie quote. It just comes out.)

My roomie and I are going to Downtown Disney for some shopping and pretzeling so I'll get back to you later. Love, peace and chicken grease!

Tuesday

Sweet old lady.

I like to make crafts. I know, I am an old lady. That's ok with me though. Call me what you want but crafting, to me, is a mom thing... and I want to be a mom. If I could wake up tomorrow and have a husband and five children, I would do it in an instant. Anyway, in order to fill my need to be motherly and domestic, I started making crafts...

This week I decided I really wanted our apartment to be more festive. The holidays are here and they are lonley and sad here at Disney because we have no families. For some reason I feel like holiday decorations and yummy cookies will help solve this sadness, in some small way.

I won't lie, I get sad and lonely. But since I love my job and am having a wonderful time, I just use my sad time to make crafts. Capice? K, glad to get you up to speed on my new found hobby.

I saw this idea on a blog I stalk the other day. It was for little pumpkin centerpieces. Here are the materials I used....

And here is the result of my lovely fall centerpiece.

So homey. Such an old lady thing. Go ahead, say it, I'm 21 going on 80. Don't worry, Peter Pan is my favorite Disneyworld ride. Sometimes I'm 21 going on 5. Am I ever 21 going on 22? Probably not. What are 22 years olds good for anyway?

On another note, I got the most amazing package from my family. It was full of all of my favorite things.

The hand warmers are from my dad. He thinks he is hilarious. Like ummmm... hi dad, it's real nice that you think its funny that I am melting while you are skiing. But it's ok, I love him for thinking about me. The El Pato is from Dodee. He was going to put in a small peice of carpet as a mean inside joke, so I am glad he picked that instead. Lime green rain boots = bomb.com. My mom sent them as a joke, little does she know I will actually wear them. BIG cheezits. My favorite baked snack cracker. And, they are BIG. Can you say YUMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks fam, your package is almost as awesome as your company. Just not even close. The package though, in and of itself, was epic.

Quote of the day, "There's just a lot of mean girls out there, and that's just not nice." Shout out to my roomie Nicole who stated the quote. It is in essence, the absolute truth. You are a sweetheart. And you are right, you are a nice girl. Love you.

How I have been feeling today... confused. I over analyze everything in my life.
Too many decisions. Too many choices. Too many alternatives. I need someone to tell me that no matter what happens, everything will work out, and it's going to be ok.

Magical Moment for the day:
A little girl came through my line and was singing "A Whole New World" really loud, she was adorable.
So I made her a button the said "I'm celebrating being the best singer!" She wore it proudly. A minute later I saw my BFF Courtney. I told her she needed to hear the little girl sing because she was amazing. The little girl started to sing for her, and slowly everyone around us started stopping to listen. By the time she ended her lovely (and might I add- perfectly in pitch and on key) solo, nearly everyone in the store was watching intently (both the guests and cast members). We all clapped and cheered for her. I looked at her mother, and tears were streaming down her face looking at her perfect little angel singer performing for all of us there at Disneyworld. She was wonderful, it truely was a magic moment.

Thought for the day:
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. This is true for both the people you love and the people you are in love with. Never take advantage of the people in your life. Love them. Don't use them as a means to an end, use them as an end in themselves.

Love, peace, and chicken grease.
